Games - Year 2 - Group A + B - Introduction to Blueprints - Week 2/3

This week we will continue with some basic tutorials that will continue to introduce and further your knowledge of Unreal Editor and Blueprints.

For those who missed last week or didn't finish the introduction to blueprints please now go back and complete it.

If you feel you need to refresh on Unreal level Designer it may be worth working through the Level Designer Quick Start before carrying on with this weeks tasks.

This weeks tasks:

1. Start/Complete the Official Blueprint Quick Start Guide Don't worry about completing page 7 which ask you to complete extra tasks. We will come back to this later.

2. Open up the Third Person Template with Starter Content. Create a new Default level and start following the below videos in order:

1. Turning On a light with Level Blueprint
2. Toggling a light in Blueprint
3. Creating a Class Blueprint
4. Adding Components to a Class Blueprint
5. Adding Functionality to a Class Blueprint
6. Using Inputs to Control a Class Blueprint
7. Add Construction Script Customization
8. Level Editor Component Workflow

When finished you will have a small map with 4 buildings along with some interactive features.

3. Now add the jump pad that you created in task 1 to your task 2 project.
